FREE Kissing Hand Poem Printable
A free printable poem for the first day of school, written for this pack and made to send home as a keepsake.
What is in the file
A free printable poem for the first day of school, written for this pack and made to send home as a keepsake. Print the poem, press a painted hand beside it, and let a nervous five year old carry it in a pocket all morning. This is a companion for the story teachers read on day one and it does not include the book.
What is included
- The Kiss in Your Hand
- My Handprint Keepsake
- My Kiss in My Hand
- When I Miss Home
- Printing and editing guide
How the editing works
- Open the PowerPoint file and click any text box to type your own wording.
- Change the text, font, size and color. The background design is locked so your layout never shifts.
- Works in Google Slides too. Upload the PPTX to your Drive and open it with Slides.
Printing
- Print at 100 percent or Actual Size so the trim sizes stay true.
- Cardstock and lamination hold up all year for anything that gets handled daily.
Set in standard fonts so it opens the same way on any computer, with no font downloads to chase.

No email, no catch
Every free file here is the same file we use in our own classrooms. The download is the whole transaction. If it earns a spot in your room, a quick review on the listing helps other teachers find it, and following the store means you hear about the next one first.
